World Social Work Day
Social Work: Making a World of Difference
The International Federation of Social Workers will celebrate the first World Social Work Day on March 27. The main theme is "Social Work: Making a World of Difference", highlighting that social workers help people make positive changes in their lives. Social workers respond not only to individual needs, but also larger social issues such as poverty, domestic violence, homelessness and health care. Social work aims to improve social policies, to promote human rights and social justice.
